A site manager in Leipzig has 18 fitters starting a job near the Erfurter Kreuz on Monday and one afternoon to sort out beds. Calling nine different landlords for nine different room types is not an option. Numbers that move with the project, not against it
Postings rarely keep a fixed headcount. A crew of twelve can grow to twenty when a second sub-contractor joins, or shrink when part of the job finishes early. Additional rooms are booked as the need arises, and rooms no longer needed can be cancelled free of charge up to their own arrival day. No deposit sits against any of it, so a shorter job does not tie up cash that was never spent.
Nothing here depends on an office in the city

Keys without a front desk
Check-in runs on its own, 24 hours a day, at every house. Three crews arriving on three different flights does not mean three separate handovers: written instructions go out before the arrival day and work the same at each address. Rooms are cleaned by a professional service and made up with bed linen before anybody turns the key, and towels are the one item every worker still has to pack.
Parking that matches the fleet
Cars and lorries both have a place to stand overnight, which matters once a job brings vans, a tipper or a seven-and-a-half-tonner into town behind the crew. State the number and size of vehicles in the enquiry, and the offer names a house where the fleet actually fits, rather than leaving that detail for the morning of arrival.
What a coordinator does not have to arrange
A kitchen with a hob, oven, fridge and microwave belongs to every flat, along with a washing machine, wifi and a private bathroom with a walk-in shower. A posted worker is not left buying basic kit for a few months abroad, and none of it appears as a separate line on the invoice. Towels, a television, a dishwasher, air conditioning and breakfast are not part of the service, and workers are told in advance to bring their own towels.
