Somebody has to sleep in Erfurt tonight because the shift on the site starts at six. This page answers the three questions that decide such a booking: what a bed costs, how far the work is, and how the key reaches the guest. We let single, double and three-bed rooms in furnished flats, in the old town and in two further parts of the city.
The key does not wait for office hours
Arrival works by itself, at any hour. Written instructions go out before the arrival day and they read the same at every house, so a crew that loses two hours on the A4 loses nothing else. Beds are made up before anybody turns the handle. Professional cleaners go through the flat before each new arrival.
What a bed costs per night
Prices are counted per room and night. A second or third person in the same room costs nothing on top, which is why pairs almost always take a double with two separate single beds.

German VAT at the statutory rate sits inside every figure, and the invoice shows the tax separately. One of the houses is cheaper than the rest: rooms there begin at €21.40 per room and night, and the whole unit for 30 people costs €321.00 a night, which is €10.70 a head. Two hundred and fifty metres of pavement to the main station
The main house, Schmidtstedter Strasse 30A, stands in the old town of Erfurt. We measured 245 metres of walking route to the main station on 23 September 2026, which is a little over three minutes at a normal pace. That matters for anyone who arrives by rail and has no vehicle for the whole assignment.

How long the vans are on the road
The industrial estate at the Erfurter Kreuz, where the A4 meets the A71 south of the city, lies 18.6 km away, about 24 minutes by car. Messe Erfurt is 4.5 km or roughly 9 minutes. The freight village at Linderbach is 8.4 km, about 14 minutes. All three were routed in free-flowing traffic on 23 September 2026, so morning queues have to be added.
Kitchen, washing machine, and the towels you pack
Each flat has a kitchen with a hob, oven, fridge, microwave, kettle, coffee machine, pots and crockery, so an evening meal does not depend on a takeaway. A washing machine handles the work clothes at the end of the week. The bathroom belongs to the flat and has a walk-in shower. In the room there is a desk for the paperwork, and wifi runs everywhere. Guests bring their own towels. There is no dishwasher, no air conditioning and no breakfast.
Where the van and the lorry stand overnight
Parking for cars and for lorries belongs to the houses, which decides the matter when a tipper or a seven-and-a-half-tonner follows the crew into town. Say in the enquiry how many vehicles are coming and how big they are. We then pick a house where the parking works, rather than sorting it out on the evening of arrival.
From the first message to the key
Three facts make an offer possible: how many people, which dates, which place of work. You receive the free rooms and the price per room and night in writing, and the rooms are held as soon as you confirm. Extending later depends on what is still free, so an early word helps. Whether a final cleaning applies is stated in the offer, never afterwards.
